Lipid Peroxidation, Proline Content and Soluble Sugars as indicators of Oxidative Stress Tolerance in Some Advanced Durum Wheat Lines (Triticum durum Desf.).

Oxidative stress induced by glyphosate is a complex phenomenon caused an imbalance between reactive oxygen species (ROS) and antioxidants in plants cells. The present research was carried out at the field crops institute, Agricultural Experimental Station of Setif (ITGC-AES), to assess response some durum wheat (Triticum Durum Desf.) lines exposed oxidative herbicide. In heading stage, solution 5 Mm sprayed on flag leaves, each measurement taken 48 hours after application. Lipid peroxidation, free proline soluble sugars were determined. results indicated that increased content lipid proline, leaves. Analysis variance revealed significant differences among genotypes tested, increase level peroxidation much higher advanced G5 G3, which membrane damage are greater. also G3 G4, line G5, showing high tolerance induced.
